A Cool Korean Evening
A Fusion of Traditional and contemporary Korean performance arts
Gwanggaeto Samul and Traveler B-Boy are professional teams from Korea with many shows and collaborations to their name, including performances with Na Hoon-ah, Park Ae-ri, Song So-hee, Kim Kyung-ho, and BTS!
Team-M Taekwondo recently appeared in the finals of America’s Got Talent as part of the World Taekwondo Demonstration Team, earning a Golden Buzzer from Terry Crews on their first performance!

We would like to invite students and youth to attend the rehearsal prior to the show! This is a great time to see professionals prepare, and maybe even meet some of the performers!
The main performance will start promptly at 6:00 PM and doors will close at 6:30 PM.

Samul nori
Experience traditional Korean percussion and dancing from Gwanggaeto Samul, a professional samul nori performance art organization from Jeju Island in Korea!
B-Boy / Breakdance / Beatbox
Combining old-school breakdancing with a modern K-pop vibe, Traveler B-Boy mixes up Korean culture with contemporary skill and athleticism!
Taekwondo
Coming off of a finals appearance on America’s Got Talent, Team-M Taekwondo promises to excite with a joint martial arts demonstration with Dream Taekwondo academy!
COVID-19 Restrictions
School COVID tests for students are acceptable
Over-the-counter tests are NOT accepted.
We have just gotten word that the COVID protocols for the Hammer have been updated.
Children under 12 years old, who are not eligible for the vaccine, are NOT required to provide a negative test to attend events at the Hammer Theatre.
All patrons over the age of 2 years old must wear a mask indoors.

COVID-19 testing is generally free, and it takes ~48 hours to get results.
For this performance, getting tested on Friday or Saturday prior to the event is recommended (THAT IS THIS WEEK!)
Over-the-counter test results will NOT be accepted by the venue.
Due to the global pandemic, there are requirements that need to be met to attend this event: Hammer Theatre Center COVID FAQ
- PROOF OF VACCINATION REQUIRED. All performers, patrons, crew, and staff must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Digital and physical forms of proof will be accepted, including:
- CLEAR Digital Vaccine Health Pass
- CDC Vaccination Card, with a valid photo ID
- Digital photo of Vaccination Card, with a valid photo ID
- State of California digital vaccination card, with a valid photo ID
- Medical and religious exemptions must provide signed documentation 5 business days prior to the event, as well as a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of attendance.
- All patrons and staff are required to wear masks indoors until further notice in accordance with Santa Clara County’s most recent health order. If you do not have a mask, our ushers can provide one at entry.

There are several conveniently located parking garages and lots near the theatre.
Unfortunately, the theatre is unable to validate parking for the nearby garages/lots, but some of the nearby eateries or grocery stores will validate with the purchase of food.
There is also metered street parking, which should be free after 6:00 PM.
